Nancy is a Certified Groomer and opened Handsome Hounds in 2006.  She is married, holds a Legal Assistant Degree and has spent 15 years as an Executive Assistant.  Nancy has a lifetime love of animals, and is currently mom to two pooches, Nina and Pip, and Targhee, her beloved Paint Horse.

Nancy grew up with German Shepherd Dogs and mixed breeds, and has been around horses since she can remember.

About the Van

The dog grooming van is a professionally converted Hanvey Hybrid 2007 Sprinter GX7 Grooming Van.  Your dog will enjoy being groomed in a clean, quiet setting inside the grooming studio.  The van is equipped with state of the art euipment to keep your dog comfortable during their appointment:

~ Heat/A.C.

~ Warm water for a bath in the on-board full sized tub

~ Hydro bather, important for a deep, penetrating clean difficult to achieve at home

~ Dog dryer - every dog is hand dried

~ Electric lift table

~ 50 gallon fresh water tank, and another to hold the used bath water

~ State of the art battery inverter system to power it all
